There's a reason why we all wait with such pleasure for spring to arrive and enchant us with its fresh flowers and sun rays. Not only is "the departure" of snow important when thinking of spring, but also the festive atmosphere in New York, London, Milan and Paris. Why festive? Because we finally get acquainted with the latest trends in fashion as far as autumn is concerned. I shall begin by making a short summary of the most divine collections presented at New York Fashion Week.
I've noticed that people tend to associate autumn with dark colours and dreary days but they couldn't be more wrong. Labels such as DKNY, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Carolina Herrera and Diane von Furstenberg aim at teaching women to be cheerful and adore electric tones. Another thing which you should bare in mind is that fur is also popular amidst this autumn's trends. Oscar de la Renta, Anna Sui and Donna Karan seem to particularly take a fancy to it. However, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Alexander Wang stick to leather and opt for motorcycle jackets. XXL jumpers are also very popular (needless to say that they're also cosy and comfy) and Michael Kors and Vera Wang like them. For sure. Marc Jacobs seems to be in a league of its own with its dotted materials as well as Y-3 which reminds us of Scotland and advise us not to throw our tartan skirts/trenches away. They will always be in!
In conclusion, the range of styles is extremely wide and that certainly means that you are at an advantage. For whatever your look is, you will find a possibility of being fashionable this autumn.
